This solo is dedicated to what I consider the greats of modern tango drumming: Pepe Correale, who has recorded, for example, María de Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla, Pulsación, and many other albums; Zurdo Roizner, a major reference for me as he played in my grandfather's electronic octet, a group that included my dad Daniel, a top-level session drummer; Tulio de Piscopo, an Italian drummer who recorded all the albums in 1974 and 1975, including the original version of Libertango, performed incredibly even without knowing the style; and Luis Ceravolo, a great reference for me, who recorded with the electronic octet the live album at the Olympia in Paris, an album that played in every car and living room throughout my family history. So this solo is dedicated to all of them for their great contribution and inspiration.
