"Pampa esquema novo" is the work of Richard Serraria, a Brazilian musician passionate about the milonga, the pampa as a metaphor, and the sounds of the Río de la Plata. With extensive experience traveling and performing in Argentina and Uruguay, Serraria has collaborated with musicians from both countries, such as Tomy Lebrero, Pablo Grinjot, and Daniel Drexler. This album is a true fusion of Brazilian rhythms like candombe and milongas with influences from pop songs, folk, and tango.

Recorded in Buenos Aires, Porto Alegre, and Montevideo, "Pampa esquema novo" features Serraria, his friends, and various Brazilian musicians. The sound of the album is mostly acoustic, featuring criollo guitars, accordions, and a wide range of Brazilian percussion, complemented by more urban elements like electric guitar, bass, and bandoneon.

Throughout twelve original songs, with recognizable choruses and folkloric ideas, this work from the southern world is captured with an adventurous and nomadic spirit that blends gaucho traditions with African heritage. "Pampa esquema novo" is like a travel diary, recreating a new sound map that reflects the cultural and musical diversity of the region.
