Pablo Agri is renowned for his virtuosity as a tango violinist, following in the footsteps of his father, the celebrated Antonio Agri, who collaborated with figures like Ástor Piazzolla. Although his lineage is important, his talent transcends any association with his father. In tango, personal skill is what matters, beyond origin. In "Desde adentro," the quartet led by Agri demonstrates exceptional ability to create a sound that can be as expansive as a small orchestra or as intimate as a duo. This album stands out for the balance between the piano and the bandoneón, although there's also a greater prominence of the accordion. The repertoire combines classic pieces with new compositions, which adds additional interest. The four members of the quartet are accomplished instrumentalists, capable of assuming both soloist roles and group members as required by the arrangement.
