The new album by Peppe Voltarelli presents a notable difference compared to his previous work, "Distratto ma però". This album has a more traditional approach, with primarily acoustic instrumentation including guitar, mandolin, accordion, double bass, and percussion, without the presence of electric instruments, except for some rare exceptions. Voltarelli's raspy voice and distinctive poetry are omnipresent, but in this work, the artist leans towards French chanson in several songs, as demonstrated by the inclusion of a Léo Ferré song adapted into Italian.
