This 14-track album offers a blend of brief experimental passages and songs with careful attention to sound, textures, and unconventional timbres. Musical influences range from Cuyo tonada, zamba, chacarera, to tango and the tenderest rock, although these rhythms are not necessarily evident at first glance but must be discovered between the lines. The album's artwork, based on photos of candies, specifically sugary gummy bears, reflects a minimalist air reminiscent of 1950s and 1960s pop art, with aesthetic decisions that include sound design but without falling into the frivolity of mass consumer pop music. The lyrics of the songs, often metaphysical, combine with ethereal music devoid of burdens. Lavanda Fulton, a trio of young musicians from Mendoza, demonstrates an ability to subtly blend rock and folklore in an unclassifiable manner, with songs ranging from introspective to expansive. The instrumentation spans a wide range of instruments, from electric and acoustic guitars to toys and a music box, in addition to the reflective vocals of the author of most of the tracks, Milton Monsalvo.
