Taking as motifs the eight chosen songs, but dealing with jazz, with a lot of freedom and improvisation. And except for "Seguir viviendo sin tu amor," which can be considered a hit within Spinetta's coherent career, the other seven songs, while known to those who admire El Flaco, are not among the most popular of his works. Of course, it would have been easier, but that wasn't Domínguez's idea. In the selection of the material, there was a certain predilection for the rather long and complex melodies (which abound in Spinetta's repertoire) like "La melodía es en tu alma" or "Wendolín." There are some exceptions, of course. But it should be noted that this is not a demagogic or complacent album with the rock audience. It can be a good opportunity for many lovers of songs, pop, or rock to approach these musicians and their art, even if they are not regular consumers of jazz.
