The quartet formed by Camila Nebbia, Maya Keren, Diana Arias, and Lesley Mok was created during the jazz and creative music seminar led by Vijay Iyer and Tyshawn Sorey at the Banff Center for the Arts and Creativity in Canada. The quartet explores the language of free improvisation within compositions by Nebbia, Arias, and Keren, including the exploration of all four voices. The chemistry they felt when playing together for the first time led them to want to record this music and to create a deep bond within it.
