Artist's words: I like albums as much as I like narratives, stories with a beginning, a good development, and some possible endings. At the dawn of the strict lockdown, I started to mull over the idea of an album, to imagine a journey, to think of proposals and create compartments. That's how I composed a stack of new pieces and songs, and fortunately, some of them didn't make it to the final list. The only premise I subscribed to was that the material had to be current: the gestation began on March 12, 2020, and ended in early July. A couple of weeks later, just before the streets began to sprout again from silence, I recorded it at home.
It's a guitar album, in plural. Classical, electric, 12-string steel guitars converge among pieces of different styles and genres. Moments of solo intimacy are interspersed with the density of overdubs, while improvisation constantly dialogues with composition.
