It is an anonymous French song from the late 17th century that several composers made variations on (Michel Corette, Robert De Viseé, etc.). Rameau has very difficult variations for two bass viols with 7 French strings in a manuscript from that time. The recording was done entirely by Julián Polito in the studio he set up at his home during the quarantine.
